Can warn against tsunamis, cyclones

The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) today successfully launched its 14th rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), an earth observation surveillance satellite, and the micro education satellite ANUSAT.

India on Monday successfully launched a new-age all-weather Radar Imaging Satellite, RISAT-2 that would not just significantly enhance the country's capability for earth observation but could also be used for surveillance purposes.
