30% Have Already Shifted, Mutton Supplies Will Resume From Today

New Delhi: Idgah butchers called off their strike on Thursday, ending a fortnightlong tussle between them and Municipal Corporation of Delhi over the issue of shifting to the Ghazipur abattoir. According to the butchers, around 30% of the meat traders had shifted to Ghazipur till Thursday evening.
The newly constructed Ghazipur slaughterhouse continues to be mired in controversy with the Quresh (slaughter) community now challenging its hygiene, capacity and other facilities.
