GUWAHATI: The All Assam Harijan Mazdoor Union alleged that Ramky has failed to solve the garbage problem of Guwahati city.

Talking to reporters here today, Union’s general secretary Dinonath Basphor said Ramky had violated the agreements of the contract signed by Ramky with the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC). “The Ramky is using GMC vehicles, manpower and others to conduct garbage cleaning drive across the city but the end result is not at all satisfactory. The city is full of garbage,” he said, adding, “Ramky is also getting a huge amount of money from the GMC for carrying out the garbage cleaning drive in the city.”
