The court had sought a factual report from a joint committee with regard to the status of discharge of fly ash slurry in Khirna storm water drain by M/s M.B. Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd., village Laharpur, Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh.

Factual and action taken report on behalf of the Joint Committee constituted vide the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order, January 28, 2022.

The matter related to health hazards being faced by the residents living near M/S N.U. Vista Ltd., village Durgawati, district Kaimur, Bihar. The unit is discharging its polluted water in the nearby agricultural land; the cement water slurry is released into the agricultural fields making them infertile and ultimately polluting the nearby rivers and also affects aquatic life, the application to the NGT said.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ashu Chauhan Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 11/05/2022.

Grievance in the application is against running of around 30 jaggery making units (Kolhu) in village Badka, tehsil Baraut, district Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh, without following environmental norms.

The NGT, February 2, 2022 had sought factual report in the mattr from a joint Committee of CPCB, SPCB, Secretary-Small Scale Industry, Government of Uttar Pradesh and the District Magistrate, Bagpat.
