Ranchi, Feb. 23: The state mines and geology department has blamed central agencies such as Geological Survey of India (GSI), Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) and Mineral Exploration Corporation of India Limited (MECL) for undermining the interests of Jharkhand.

Jamshedpur, Feb. 23: Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has set its priorities for the next financial year.

SCCI president Umesh Kauntia released an 11-point programme today aimed at benefiting trade and industry. Kauntia, also the vice-president of Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said efforts were on to set up a trade centre in the steel city.
