The Applicant an industry manufacturing auto parts of Bajaj Auto Ltd had filed the Application for a direction to the MoEF and the Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board to permit the operation of the industry under the provisional consent granted dated 22nd June, 2016. Tribunal permits the industry to operate.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sandeep Kumar Vs. MoEF & Others dated 06/07/2016 regarding illegal mining in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Tribunal directs the Committee consisting of Director Mines, State of Uttarakhand, Member Secretary, Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board and District Magistrate, Haridwar to hear the Applicant (Sandeep Kumar) and asked the committee will determine the environmental compensation payable for illegal mining as well as on account of environmental degradation.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s. Ganga Yamuna Mining Co. & Others Vs. State of Haryana & Others dated 06/06/2016 regarding illegal mining of minor minerals in the state of Uttar Pradesh. As an interim order Tribunal directs the auction purchasers who were declared successful and have paid the amounts to the Government of State of Uttar Pradesh for lifting of stored material which itself was collected from the illegal mining are permitted to lift the material within a period of one month and three days.
