Legacy waste dumped on the banks of Banganga rivulet has been removed completely and the site is totally clean. The Shrine Board has removed about 1500 MTs of waste dumped on the banks of river Banganga.

The matter related to compliance of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 in the state of Haryana.

The court noted that the matter was dealt by the NGT in the last five years by several orders, last order being May 9, 2022 on consideration of status report filed by the Chief Secretary, Haryana dated April 29, 2022.

The matter is related to legacy waste management.

Out of the 54.18 lakh MT legacy waste, except Gurugram, approximately 31.90 lakh MT (58.87%) waste has  been processed. The processing of remaining waste is likely to be completed by December 2023.

In partnership with Anthesis Group, The Circulate Initiative conducted a detailed assessment of wastesheds in India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. This report provides a summary of the key findings for each of the wastesheds covered in this study, including aspects of the plastics recycling supply chains where improvements can be made.

Final report of the Monitoring Committee constituted by the National Green Tribunal on various environment issues in the state of Punjab, with respect to compliance of order dated February 8, 2022 in Original Application No. 360 of 2018 in the matter of Shree Nath Sharma Vs Union of India & Others.

The report mentioned the compliance status of environmental norms in respect of various thematic areas as mentioned in District Environment Plans of various districts of state of Punjab. The report was submitted on December 27, 2022.

Report by the state of Meghalaya in the matter of Compliance of Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 (State of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya) dated 20/12/2022.

Quantity of waste generated in the state of Nagaland is 282.43 tonnes per day (TPD). Out of which 102 TPD gets processed and that means a gap of 180.43 TPD in waste processing.

The quantity of waste being disposed in landfills is 107.45 TPD and the quantity of legacy waste in the state is 153010.97 tonnes. With respect to biomining the one under Dimapur Municipal Council is not functional.

Progress and action taken report of solid waste management issues, illegal dumping at Alexander Parambithara bridge and near Kannangattu bridge.

The Kochi Municipal Corporation is "facing problem related with legacy wastes which accumulated in Brahmapuram plant" and for attaining optimum solution for treating the legacy waste, biomining procedure has been adopted. The responsibility of biomining was entrusted to Zonta Infratech.

Status report filed by the government of Kerala in Original Application No. 606/2018 before the National Green Tribunal on waste management and sanitation.

The report informed the NGT about the status of solid waste management; non-biodegradable waste management; biodegradable waste management; legacy waste management; liquid waste management and industrial wastewater management.
