CHITWAN: Officials and experts have started counting one-horned rhinoceros in Parsa from today.

CHITWAN, MAR 24 - The district has been witnessing a rise in the number of swine flu (H1N1) patients despite strict measures to contain the disease, health officials said.

The Parsa District Forest Office on Tuesday held consultation with stakeholders in an effort to check unlawful forest clean-up in Parsa.

Herds of wild tuskers are unleashing terror among the locals of Thori in Parsa by destroying their crops, plantation and houses, said Prem Lama, a local teacher.

The district for the past month has been gripped by dengue, a viral disease, transmitted primarily by mosquitoes.
