Pune To mark the World Environment Day on Friday, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will undertake a tree plantation drive and distribute saplings in different part of the city.

The civic body has urged citizens, students and social organisations to participate in the drive.

Pune The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will regularise the practice of providing organic waste from hotels and restaurants to farmers around the city.

During the recent agitation by Uruli Devachi and Phursungi villagers, some such waste had been provided to farmers. Now, the civic administration has decided to provide such waste regularly to farms up to 10km away.
