A 32 page preliminary investigation report into the environmental carrying capacity for polluting projects and allied issues in Tamnar and Gharghoda blocks of Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh made public on Februry 26, 2020 on the National Green Tribunal (NGT) website. The report was in response to the NGT order of July 22, 2019.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dukalu Ram & Others Vs Union of India & Others dated 14/02/2019. The issue for consideration is illegal mining in Coal Blocks of Gare Palma IV/2 and Gare Palma IV/3 in Distt. Raigarh, Chhattisgarh by diverting forest land for mining. The mining resulted in pollution affecting the crops of the farmers. Chemical and coal water was dumped into the fields.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Bombay Environment Action Group Vs MoEFCC & Ors. dated 11/09/2017 regarding illegal constructions in Matheran an eco-sensitive zone in Maharashtra. The Applicant - Bombay Environment Action Group has submitted that the interim submitted before the Tribunal is silent on the actions that the State proposed to take and the timeline on violations under the Forest Conservation Act in the forest like area. NGT directs another affidavit to be filed within a week. 

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Bombay Environment Action Group Vs MoEFCC & Ors dated 10/08/2017 regarding illegal constructions in Matheran an eco-sensitive zone in Maharashtra. Counsel for the State of Maharashtra submits that 428 illegal contractions/structures were detected and that demolition action against the illegal structures has been halted on account of Status-Quo order passed by the High Court in the Petitions filed by the holders of such structures.
