The application was filed by Dattaprasad Prabhu Goankar on the following grounds:

Response to report by Akash Vashistha to report dated August 25, 2020 submitted by the District Magistrate, Mathura. The matter related to construction of a metalled road taking place in the river bed of Yamuna in Vrindavan along with other permanent illegal constructions. The road was used to facilitate illegal reclamation of floodplains. The construction of this road was leading to dumping of malba and debris on the ghats (Cheer Ghat, Govind Ghat and Bhramar Ghat). This had caused irreparable damage to the Ghats and obstructing the natural flow of the river.

Evaluation & Validation Report filed by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) in compliance to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order of 14/02/2020 in the matter of O.A. No. 935/2018 titled as Anumolu Gandhi Vs. State of Andhra Pradesh.

The matter related to allegation of illegal mining in the name of desilting in the state of Andhra Pradesh damaging river Krishna and the environment. The plea of the state of Andhra Pradesh was that desilting was being done by Inland Waterways Authority of India, without adversely affecting the environment.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of R. Sreedhar Vs Union of India & Others dated 28/05/2020. The appeal was directed against an amended Environmental Clearance (EC) dated 03.09.2019 granted to M/s. Adani Power (Jharkhand) Ltd., (Project Proponent) by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), permitting withdrawl of water from the river Ganga for the proposed thermal power project at Godda, Jharkhand to be set up by Adani.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Manoj Misra & Others Vs Union of India & Others dated 05/02/2020 regarding constructing a bridge on the Yamuna flood plains under Phase -IV of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) project.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Federation of River Residency Cooperative Housing Society Vs Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation & Others dated 30/01/2020 regarding construction of sewage treatment plant (STP) by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) in the area between the river bank and blue flood line of the Indrayani River which is a prohibited zone.
