A day after the Corporation of the City of Panaji members battled it out over garbage, the CCP Mayor Tony Rodrigues has directed the Commissioner to initiate the process for an impartial inquiry into the Anaerobic digester plant at Patto.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the government yesterday signed a loan agreement of 87 million US dollar to improve the basic services and infrastructure in municipal towns of Bangladesh.

Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, secretary of the Economic Relations Division (ERD) and Paul J Heytens, country director of ADB, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the ERD.
