Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Essar Bulk Terminal Limited & Others Vs The State of Gujarat & Others dated 29/03/2019 regarding expansion of port limits in Hazira. Supreme Court directs that “Out of 195 hectares of reclaimed land, 140 hectares will be further leased to Essar Bulk Terminal Limited and 55 Hectares land will be kept by GMB for future project.”

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ajitsinh Bhurubha Vaghela & Inhabitants of several Villages of Kheda Taluka, Distt. Kheda Vs State of Gujarat dated 25/03/2019 regarding untreated industrial effluents being discharged in Kharicut Canal which is meeting Khari River in Gujarat affecting irrigation facilities of the inhabitants and the only source of water for irrigation and for consumption by animals like cattles and sheep. Borewells have been dug in Bheraj, Pinngloj, Navagaon, Lali villages without permission of the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mustak M Kadri Vs. State of Gujarat & Others regarding switch over to cleaner fuel CNG, Gujarat dated 22/02/2018. NGT directs the concerned Secretary of the concerned department in the State of Gujarat to make a statement as to the steps taken in the relating to switch over from fossil fuel to CNG within 10 days.

Judgement of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Essar Bulk Terminal Limited & Others Vs State of Gujarat & Others dated 22/02/2018 regarding the expansion of the port limits of Adani's Hazira port. Essar Bulk Terminal Limited have argued before the Court that they have spent huge amounts of money on lands reclaimed by them.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mustak M Kadri Vs. State of Gujarat & Others regarding switch over to cleaner fuel CNG, Gujarat, 05/01/2018. As there is no one on behalf of the State of Gujarat to place before the Court the manner in which there will be gradual transition to switch over to CNG the matter has been listed on 22nd February, 2018.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mustak M Kadri Vs. State of Gujarat & Others dated 19/05/2017 regarding permission to buy 500 diesel buses by Gujarat State Transport Corporation. NGT permits the State Transport Corporation to buy the diesel buses provided they are BS-IV compliant.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Citizens Resource & Action Initiative (CRANTI) Vs State of Gujarat & Others dated 27/03/2017 regarding farmers suicides in India. Supreme Court grants Central Government four weeks time to place before the Court the line of action which the Central Government proposes for adoption by the State Governments, for dealing with the serious consequences of farmer suicides.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Citizens Resource & Action Initiative (CRANTI) Vs State of Gujarat & Others dated 27/03/2017 regarding farmer suicides in India. P.S. Narasimha Additional Solicitor General stated before the Apex Court that the Central Government is in the process of formulating a line of action to be adopted by the State Governments, to deal with the issue.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Luna Gram Panchayat & Other Vs State of Gujarat & Others dated 06/03/2017 regarding construction of a KVA sub-station on grazing land (4,900 square meters) in village Luna, Vadodara, Gujarat. According to the counsel for the petitioners, the action at the behest of the authorities is arbitrary, because there is substantial barren land available in the village, where the sub-station can be raised.
