The State Government will launch a H1N1 flu vaccination drive on May 5 that will cover 32,000 doctors, nurses, paramedics and journalists especially those who cover health issues, in the first phase of the drive. This was announced by Health and GDD Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday.

Hyderabad, March 28: The death of a 22-year-old in Gandhi Hospital on Friday has put the city on swine flu alert again.

This is the first swine flu death reported this year.

Reddy Basha, a Kurnool resident suffering from multi-organ problems, was admitted to Gandhi Hospital a few days ago where he was diagnosed to have swine flu.
