Grievance in this application is against grant of Environment Clearance by the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Haryana on 12.12.2013 to construct a project in villages – Dhumaspur and Maidawas, District Gurgaon, Haryana on a plot area of 151804.3 square meters. Objection of the applicant is that the construction is on a fertile cultivable land. The project will also result in depletion of ground water level.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. MoEF And Suresh Kumar Vs. Union of India & Others dated 24/10/2018 regarding illegal sand mining in Yamuna River bed in the State of Uttar Pradesh. National Green Tribunal directs the States of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to take note of the case and assessment of damages to be done and report to be submitted to the Tribunal.
