Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M.C. Mehta Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 19/10/2016 regarding Ganga pollution especially the area from Haridwar to Unnao. NGT in its Order expressed disappointment as none of the parties could inform NGT as to "how many drains carrying sewage, treated effluent, waste and domestic discharge or others join river Ganga or its main tributary i.e. East Kali, Kosi and Ram Ganga falling in Segment ‘B’ of Phase-I in terms of the Judgement of the Tribunal."

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Others dated 19/10/2016 regarding supply of CNG/PNG as the main source of fuel for vehicular traffic in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sampuram Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Others dated 18/10/2016 regarding municipal solid waste management of the city of Amritsar, Punjab.

NGT notes that STP which was expected to be operational much earlier (31-05-2016) has taken no effective shape to ensure that the sewerage of the city of Amritsar is treated and there is less pollution and health hazard.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahendra Pandey Vs. Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Ors. dated 18/10/2016 regarding rising air pollution in Delhi. Dr. M. P. George, Scientist D DPCC while referring to the report dated 17th August, 2016 that has been placed on record, has stated that the data collected shows that during the period of implementation of odd-even vehicle programme there was hardly any improvement in the ambient air quality of NCT of Delhi.
