Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vijay Kumar Dwedi Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 05/08/2020. A report was sought from the Divisional Forest Officer, Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, with reference to the allegation of illegal sand mining in forest land in Village Hamirpur, adversely affecting the environment.

Report filed by the Central Pollution Control Board before the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mohd. Imran Khan Kadri, Muslim Rashtriya Manch Vs State of Bihar.

The report was on sand mining at different ghats on river Son in Aurangabad and Rohtas districts in Bihar by M/s Aditya Multicon Pvt Ltd. The report was in compliance to the NGT order of February 19, 2020. The committee constituted for the purpose, inspected the various sand ghats on river Son.

Evaluation & Validation Report filed by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) in compliance to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order of 14/02/2020 in the matter of O.A. No. 935/2018 titled as Anumolu Gandhi Vs. State of Andhra Pradesh.

The matter related to allegation of illegal mining in the name of desilting in the state of Andhra Pradesh damaging river Krishna and the environment. The plea of the state of Andhra Pradesh was that desilting was being done by Inland Waterways Authority of India, without adversely affecting the environment.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jagriti Sansthan Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 16/07/2020.

The “Jharkhand State Mineral Policy, 2020” was being formulated and under approval process that would facilitate systematic and sustainable mining and mineral activities within the threshold limit of forest and environment. This was stated in the compliance report filed by the Department of Mines and Geology Department, Government of Jharkhand.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ajay Pandey & Others Vs Union of India & Others dated 17/06/2020 regarding remedial action against illegal sand mining on the river bed between Etawah and Jalaun District including Auraiya District, Uttar Pradesh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M.D. Rizwan Vs State of Jharkhand dated 10/06/2020. The matter related to riverbed sand mining in Dumka District of the State of Jharkhand, which according to the applicant was against the Sustainable Sand Mining Management Guidelines, 2016 framed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) which allowed riverbed sand mining only during the dry season and not in the rainy season.
