Recognising the threat of non-communicable diseases and lifestyle diseases tipping the balance of the State's health parameters, the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) - Kerala would be rolling out lifestyle clinics across the State to provide easy access to medical treatment.

 Persons tested positive for the disease will be issued ‘Red Card,' while carriers will the issued ‘Blue Card.' The Health Department authorities said this would help the doctors to identify the tribal people affected by the disease quickly when they go to hospital with some other health problems.
