Through a systematic review of NAP documents and interviews with key informants, this report showcases the role of NAP processes in minimizing and addressing loss and damage.

It is broadly recognized that the impacts of climate change will have disproportionate impacts on some members of communities and societies, and gender is one factor that influences vulnerability to climate change. As countries advance their NAP processes, the integration of gender considerations becomes increasingly important.

The Government of Uganda is assessing climate risks and supporting the integration of climate change adaptation into water resources management at the national, sectoral and district levels, including at the catchment level.
