A new report, Interconnected Disaster Risks 2020/2021, was released by United Nations University – Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS).
This report provides the first bottom-up assessment of countries’ articulated demands over climate risk insurance in their climate policy pledges as part of the Paris Agreement. It is the result of a collaboration between the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative (MCII) and the German Development Institute (GDI/DIE).
The focal topic of the WorldRiskReport 2015 is food security. The report examines the connections, influences and fields of tension between food security and disaster risk.
