The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has suspended the environment clearance (EC) accorded by the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) to the 780-MW Nyam Jang Chhu Hydroelectric Power Project in Arunachal Pradesh.
