NGT in its Order makes it clear that the mining based on the EC shall be done only manually and no mechanical mining shall be permitted.

The report filed by the Odisha State PCB states that the ambient air quality with regard to particulate matters, Sulphur-dioxide and Nitrogen dioxide is within the prescribed standard. NGT directs Vedanta Alumina to file details about the scheme as to how the fly ash is going to be disposed of by the project proponent.

The Collector-cum-District Magistrate & Others dated 02/01/2017 regarding pollution caused by a poultry farm adjacent to Bargarh-Boriguma National Highway No. 26 at village Chhatamakhna in District Bolangir, Odisha. The Counsel appearing for the State of Odisha and Odisha State Pollution Control Board submits that they would conduct a joint inspection of the poultry farm and would submit a report to the Tribunal.
