The applicant, Tumkunta Narsa Reddy, filed an application before the NGT on the commencement of the construction of Industrial Park by R4 (TSIIC) in an extent of 972.05 acres in Wargal and 374.06 acres in Mulugu, Siddipet district, without obtaining Environmental Clearance as required under EIA Notification, 2006.

The matter related to M/s Singhal Enterprises, Taraimal, Raigarh and its ownership of the land including diversion of land. The unit claimed the land of about 137 hectares has been owned by the company since 2000. However, the Joint Committee report said that 51.470 hectares of land (38%) is owned by the company and the rest 68% land is owned by other people.
