According to the original application which was filed before this Tribunal on 16.09.2015, solid waste was being dumped in an open site in Aravali forest. Leachate generated was flowing to the seasonal water bodies contaminating the ground water and polluting the surface water.

Sarvadaman Singh Oberoi Vs State of Haryana & Others dated 21/02/2019 regarding the area described as “Gair Mumkin Pahaar” in Aravali Hills in Faridabad District falls in the National Conservation Zone to which the Forest Conservation Act, 1980 is applicable.
