Navi Mumbai: A new set of notices have been served by MPCB to seven polluting units involved in fisheries and food processing in CETP, Taloja.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Shailendra Singh Vs. State of Rajasthan & Others dated 06/11/2017 regarding pollution in Pali river caused by industries. The Counsel representing the State of Rajasthan & Others has been directed by the Court to place a status report in respect of linking all the member industries to CETP through pipeline which was to be completed by 02.10.2017. It is also made clear, at that time, that those industries which were not linked with CETP are liable to be closed down.
