State of Rajasthan & Others dated 03/05/2017 regarding pollution at the industrial complex at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, 03/05/2017. NGT constitutes a Committee for conducting inspection of the 10 industries, the CETP and Acid Treatment in that area. The Rajasthan Pollution Control Board and RIICO shall submit their report regarding status of their plan for de-sludging and cleaning the pond and drain.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Vs Union of India & Others dated 01/05/2017 regarding industries operating in the critically polluted area situated at Additional Ambernath, Dombivli Phase-I and Phase – II wherein the Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) are found to be not performing upto the standards and do not have adequate hydraulic load capacities and discharging untreated effluent into the River Ulhas.
