Aug. 30: At least two mega projects in the city that were supposed to give relief to people from parking and housing woes have hit a roadblock with a state-level green body questioning how they started the work without getting the necessary environmental clearances.
DDA decided to declare Nehru Place a `No Hawking Zone' . It will also take up construction of 10,000 houses for the poor under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission.
The Delhi Development Authority on Monday passed the draft zonal plans for Yamuna river bed (zone"O") and Rohini area (zone "P-II") in a meeting of the authority here.

The recent Supreme Court judgment giving a go ahead to the construction of the Games Village has opened the doors for further construction along the Yamuna bank.
