नजफगढ़ से काटे गए पेड़ों की होगी भरपाई
दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉर्पोरेशन (डीएमआरसी) के काम की वजह से नजफगढ़ के घुम्मनहेड़ा इलाके से काटे गए पेड़ों की भरपाई डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ फॉरेस्ट एंड वाइल्डलाइफ करेगा। डिपार्टमेंट ने इस इलाके में करीब 5 हजार पेड़ लगाने की योजना बनाई है।

The last stop on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro is all set to produce its own power to meet its immediate needs.

The Dwarka Sector-21 metro station will be the first to have a solar power plant installed on its rooftop with a production capacity of 500 kWp. The plant is expected to start production within six months.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday said it was set to install a 500 kwp (kilowatt peak) “rooftop power plant” at the Dwarka Sector 21 station.

“This is the largest rooftop plant with such capacity in Delhi NCR region under the Resco model. Under this model, DMRC will pay for the units generated by the plant and the capital investment shall be provided by the developer,” DMRC managing director Mangu Singh said, adding it is the first ever such plant with a production capacity of 500 kwp.
