The City District Government Rawalpindi (CDGR) has turned a blind eye to heaps of garbage on the city roads and streets and in residential as well as commercial areas.

Only 13 Out Of 27 Units Operational: PMC

Pune: Only 50% of the biogas plants set up in the city with an aim to decentralize garbage processing system are functioning.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has 27 biogas plants with a joint capacity to process about 133 tonne garbage.At present,only 65tonne is processed in 13 plants which are functional.

That burning heap of garbage could cause more than just bad odour and smoke.
