Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Dr. P.C. Prasad Ors. Vs Govt. Of NCT of Delhi Ors. dated 18/06/2014 regarding cutting of trees to construct a ramp as part of the PWD’s Elevated Corridor project between Vikaspuri and Mukarba Chowk, 18/06/2014. The counsel appearing for Respondents has submitted that there were totally 5016 trees on the entire stratch of 14 kms from Vikas Puri to Mukarbachowk. Out of which total 1080 trees were cut at 3 stages for completion of the Project.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Ashok Mittal & Anr. Vs. NCT of Delhi & Ors. dated 03/03/2014 regarding drainage system, Delhi. The Counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation is directed to file comprehensive and accurate map showing complete drainage system in the colonies and where ultimately the drain water would be discharged.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sh. S.C. Jain Vs. Govt of NCT of Delhi & Ors.dated 24/01/2014 regarding persons carrying on a business of dealing with old and unusable vehicles, railway materials and other such machinery are dealing with the dismantling of the same.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Omesh Saigal V/s Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Ors. dated 11/11/2013. The order mentions that the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) in its report says the road side noise level in a locality in Delhi is beyond the permissible limit. However, NGT says the report does not contain the status about the noise level near the residential colony. Accordingly, it directs the DPCC to file further report regarding the noise level which is in existence in the locality concerned.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of All India Lokadhikar Sangthan Vs Govt of NCT of Delhi & Others dated 21/08/2013 regarding industries carrying on activity of stainless steel pickling in different parts of the Delhi and some industries are operating without obtaining the consent of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC).
