Central Pollution Control Board & Others dated 01/06/2017 regarding discharge of untreated effluents from industries, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. NGT directs that water quality test be also done at the point where the industries particularly the paper industries are located. The report with regard to the water in nala along these industries may also be submitted on the next date of hearing (16/06/2017).

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Chandrakant Kele Vs Shree Tradco Deesan Pvt Ltd. & Others dated 31/05/2017 regarding pollution caused by Shree Tradco Deesan Pvt Ltd. (manufacturer of maize products), Dhule District, Maharashtra.The report submitted by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) reveals that the water samples collected from open well and soil samples collected from the land showed presence of heavy metals.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sumitra Devi Vs. CPCB & Others dated 23/05/2017. This is with regard to an industry called M/s Shanti Drugs Pvt. Ltd. From the report of the Joint Inspection Team, it appears that this industry has been operating without the consent of the Board with effect from 1st December, 2014. The Joint Inspection Team has pointed out serious deficiencies in the working of this industry including need for a suitable effluent treatment system to be designed and approved by the Experts.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sumitra Devi Vs. CPCB & Ors. And Dr. Laxman Raghav Vs. State of Rajasthan & Others dated 03/05/2017 regarding pollution at the industrial complex at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, 03/05/2017. NGT constitutes a Committee for conducting inspection of the 10 industries, the CETP and Acid Treatment in that area. The Rajasthan Pollution Control Board and RIICO shall submit their report regarding status of their plan for de-sludging and cleaning the pond and drain.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M.C. Mehta Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 28/04/2017 regarding industries in Unnao polluting river Ganga. NGT directs that all these industries should be put to a joint inspection where their pollution control systems be verified and effluent should be analysed and it should be ensured that no system for injecting the trade effluent into the groundwater are existing in any area of any industry.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Santosh Daundkar Vrs. Secretary, MoEF, New Delhi & Others dated 23/03/2017. The present Application has been filed to seek shutting down of the manufacturing plant of Indian Rayon on the banks of Devaka River at Junagadh-Veravel, District Gir Somnath, Gujarat on the ground that the manufacturing activity of the Industry generates toxic effluents as well as emits foul odour, and the company is discharging heavy amount of hazardous chemicals in Arabian sea and Devaka river.
