Report filed by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) in compliance of the National Green Tribunal order dated November 25, 2019 in the matter of Mahendra Saini, President, Moda Pahad Sangarsh Samiti. The matter related to 34 illegal stone crushers operating in Moda Pahad area within the municipal limits of Jhunjhunu Municipal Council, within 1.5 km of the habitation and within the prohibited range from a National Highway and a State Highway. Their operation was causing a lot of pollution to the environment and inhabitants.
