KOCHI: As a part of increasing the green cover and making afforestation programme more effective and meaningful, the Kochi Corporation has decided to start a tree census to get the feedback on the success rate of tree plantation in the city on June 30.

The civic body has already reached an arrangement with the Rajagiri School, Kalamassery, to carry out the survey of the trees.

KOCHI: As viral fever is spreading across Kerala, the district medical authorities have claimed that they are taking all necessary steps to ensure that the fever was contained.
