BPL today said it has forayed into solar photo voltaic lighting solutions and other renewable energy based solutions.

The company plans to target four primary market segments -- residential, commercial establishments, infrastructure and the hospitality industry.

BPL said in a statement it has created a portfolio of solar energy products, alternative luminaires using LED technology.
