The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has been asked to submit a comprehensive status report with regard to coastal pollution by way of classification of coastal areas in priority-I to V as has been done for 351 polluted stretches within three months.

Subrahmanayam Vs Godavari Mega Aqua Food Park & Others dated 28/08/2019 regarding pollution by Godavari Mega Aqua Food Park in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. NGT had asked the State Pollution Control Board, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Andhra Pradesh, State of Andhra Pradesh and National Coastal Zone Management Authority (NCZMA) to file an affidavit on the matter but SPCB alone had filed the affidavit.
