The prayer in this application is to restore ecology of Kaikondarahalli lake in Bangalore city. Case of the applicant is that a construction project is being developed in the prohibited area of fragile buffer zone of the Kaikondarahalli Lake.

SMS Paryavaran Ltd. & Others dated 27/02/2019 regarding laying of the sewerage network and establishment of STP in Shegaon, District Buldana, Maharashtra. It has been alleged that certain mandatory requirements prescribed in the contract agreement have not been carried out, the most significant one being the leakage test of the network and the STP.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sunil Kemble Vs Union of India & Others dated 26/02/2019 regarding the status of nallahs in Kolhapur. NGT in its previous order had asked the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation to strictly adhere to the timeline for treating sewage and submit bi-monthly report as well as a status report.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sajjan Sodani Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 21/02/2019 regarding encroachments on Kothari river near Bhilwara, Rajasthan and dumping of domestic, industrial and other waste, including bio-medical waste allegedly dumped by Keshav Hospital, Bhilwara. NGT had directed the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) and the District Magistrate, Bhilwara to look into the matter and furnish a report.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. Udaykumar Jagtap Vs Saswad Municipal Council & Others dated 20/02/2019 regarding disposal of municipal solid waste and steps taken by the Saswad Municipal Council, District Pune to prevent pollution of river Karha and its streams and water bodies. The Tribunal had disposed of the matter on 04.09.2014 where in the said judgment, the Tribunal directed the Saswad Municipal Council to commission the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Plant by 31.03.2015.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 04/02/2019 regarding relocation of industries in Delhi. The 50th Progress Report of the Monitoring Committee was submitted before the Court where it has been mentioned that in the first step, 21960 industrial units were closed down and water and electricity supply has been disconnected with respect of them. However, in the second step, 30000 similar units have been closed down, but water and electricity supply are yet to be disconnected.
