Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahendra Saini, President, Moda Pahad Sangharsh Samiti Vs State of Rajasthan dated 27/03/2019 regarding 35 stone crushers illegally operating in Moda Pahad area within the municipal limits of Jhunjhunu Municipal Council, within 1.5 km of the habitation and within the prohibited range from National Highway and State Highway. Their operation is causing lot of pollution to the environment and the inhabitants.

A report was submitted before NGT which has pointed out the issues relating to adverse impact of industrial effluents and by consumption of river water, on health and agriculture.
