Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Environment Pollution & Health Hazards in the State Vs State of Meghalaya & Others dated 24/03/2017 regarding hotels and guest houses in Shillong releasing untreated polluted water directly to rivers. By order dated 10.2.2017, NGT had directed the Meghalaya State PCB to verify the claim of these hotels that they had complied with the directions of the Board.
