Various schemes which would provide basic facilities like proper drinking water system in all the wards, good roads, proper drainage system and other civic amenities, at the expense of Rs 40 crore, will be set in motion on October 2 in the City, explained Chairman of Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board R Varthur Prakash.
He was speaking at a felicitation programme organised by Shri Maheshwaramma Bhakta Mandali at Shri Anjaneya Swamy temple in Kurubarapete, in the City on Sunday.
