The matter relates to dumping of garbage and encroachment of pond in Pratap Pur area of Rewari district, Haryana.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Aditya Singh Chauhan Vs State of Gujarat dated 06/02/2020 regarding discharge of untreated effluents into Sabarmati river from the CETP, Narol, Ahmedabad. The discharge was adversely affecting the environment and the inhabitants. The CETP is operated by M/s Narol Textile Infrastructure and Enviro Management. Report submitted by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) acknowledged that the CETP was not meeting the parameters, causing pollution of Sabarmati river.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Janardan Kundalikrao Pharande & Others Vs Ministry of Environment & Forests & Others Vs 04/02/2020 regarding remedial action to be taken for the damage to the environment caused by M/s. Jubilant Organic Limited, Nimbut-Nira, District Pune, Maharashtra in the course of its distillery unit’s activity. Present proceedings are for execution of judgment of the Tribunal dated 16.05.2014 holding that the unit had caused damage to the environment and was liable to take remedial measures and to pay compensation.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satyanarayan Sahni Vs State of Bihar dated 03/02/2020 regarding pollution caused by a fly ash dump of a thermal power plant at village Kanti Nagar, District Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Report by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), Lucknow in compliance of the NGT order of October 22, 2019 (O.A. No. 835/2019) in the matter of RTI Activist Vs State of Uttar Pradesh. The NGT had directed the UPPCB to look into the operation of M/s Amroon Foods Pvt. Ltd. located at Agasan Road, Kursi, Barabanki. The unit was inspected on December 5, 2019.

Report filed by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) in compliance of the National Green Tribunal order dated November 25, 2019 in the matter of Mahendra Saini, President, Moda Pahad Sangarsh Samiti. The matter related to 34 illegal stone crushers operating in Moda Pahad area within the municipal limits of Jhunjhunu Municipal Council, within 1.5 km of the habitation and within the prohibited range from a National Highway and a State Highway. Their operation was causing a lot of pollution to the environment and inhabitants.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Anurup Panda Vs Member Secretary, WBPCB & Others dated 28/01/2020 regarding illegal brick kilns in West Bengal.
