Counsel appearing for the Respondents states that he would ensure in future that the material recovered upon the cleaning of the drain would not be stored on the roads and the same would be taken to the appropriate site without any delay. He further states that they will also ensure that the drains are kept clean so that there is no adverse impact on human health.

NGT on March 16, 2016 ordered the Municipality of Almora and all its members to ensure that the municipal solid waste is properly collected and dumped.
