This new global study by Carbon Disclosure Project based on survey of 291 largest transport companies which include road, rail, sea and air transport reveals that majority of transport firms are not adapting to the risks and opportunities presented by climate change. Found that only 36 per cent of transport firms have implemented carbon-reduction plans, compared to 51 per cent of Global 500 firms across all sectors.
