Environment watchdog National Green Tribunal on Wednesday directed the closure of 313 industrial units across India, including 23 in Gujarat, for violating key environment laws for over two decades

The project aims to cater to the requirements of over 7.55 million people in drought-prone Kolar, Chickballapur, Ramanagaram, Tumakuru, Bengaluru Rural and Hassan districts.

The petition is disposed of as the Court noted that in the case of Deepak Kumar and others Vs.
