NGT slams Centre for not taking remedial steps

Issue pertains to contamination of wells, borewellsdue to oil leak in north Chennai

Members of the National Green Tribunal, Southern Bench, on Tuesday castigated the Union government for not taking any remedial measures in north Chennai, where wells and bore-wells were contaminated due to leaks from the pipelines of oil marketing companies (OMC).
