Factual and action taken report of Joint Committee in the matter of Original Application No. 03/2022 (CZ) in the matter of Varun Gulati Vs Union of India & Others. The matter related to the issue of illegal sand mining in the river bed of river Sindh (tributary of river Yamuna) in district Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh has been raised, which is being carried out on the Barkari, Hathnora, Semri, Silli, Kaithoda, Lidhoura, Pawaya, Lohari sites/ghats in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in an unscientific manner by using poclain/JCB machines and other earth moving mechanical equipments.
