The Wild Life (Protection) Amendment Act, 2002 is an Act to provide for the protection of wild animals, birds and plants and for matters connected therewith or ancillary or incidental thereto with a view to ensuring the ecological and environmental
security of the country.

These rules may be called The Ozone Depleting Substances (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
