Countries can reduce deaths and injuries from road traffic crashes by flipping the traditional mobility hierarchy and adopting the Safe System approach, finds this new report from the Sustainable Mobility for All Initiative (SuM4All).

The SuM4All Global Mobility Report 2022 takes a close look at global transport‘s sustainability as measured by four key goals: universal access, efficiency, safety, and green mobility. The report looks at all forms of motorized transport, from road, to air, to waterborne, to rail.

This report provides a high-level assessment and concrete policy recommendations to close the most relevant gaps on gender and mobility policy and actions in the context of South Africa.

In 2020, the Sustainable Mobility for All partnership applied its innovative approach for improved public decision making in transport to South Africa, using the set of tools it had developed—Catalogue of Policy Measures, and Selection Algorithm–to generate a country action plan of 31 most impactful policy measures to achieve sustainable mobilit

This discussion paper contributes to the ongoing discussion on the just transition toward decarbonization and climate finance by focusing on E-mobility. It builds on a paper from the Sustainable Mobility for All Partnership, with the Climate Compatible Growth and High Volume Transport Programmes, launched at COP26 in 2021.

This second edition of Mobility Performance at a Glance: Country Dashboards 2022 compiles the profiles of transportation and mobility systems of 183 countries, using the latest data available for 60 transport indicators, and ranks these countries based on their system performances, using their Global Sustainable Mobility Index (GSMI) scores.

The Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) initiative launched the Global Roadmap of Action toward Sustainable Mobility (GRA), a tool to guide country decision-makers on “how to” achieve mobility that is efficient, accessible, safe and green.
