Action taken report in pursuance of National Green Tribunal order of November 20, 2019 regarding remediation process of groundwater and gypsum removal by the industrial unit - Ashapura Perfoclay Ltd. (village Ler, taluka Bhuj, district Kutch, Gujarat) in addition to conducting periodical checks. The tribunal also directed the issuance of a public notice regarding the unfitness of the groundwater for drinking and other uses in the interest of public health.

The Joint Inspection Committee (JIC) has failed to give a categorical finding on the violations of the consent conditions (CCA) in the operation of the Jhagadia-Kantiajal effluent pipeline by Narmada Clean Tech Ltd (NCTL) according to Narmada Pradushan Nivaran Samitee.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Aditya Singh Chauhan Vs State of Gujarat dated 06/02/2020 regarding discharge of untreated effluents into Sabarmati river from the CETP, Narol, Ahmedabad. The discharge was adversely affecting the environment and the inhabitants. The CETP is operated by M/s Narol Textile Infrastructure and Enviro Management. Report submitted by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) acknowledged that the CETP was not meeting the parameters, causing pollution of Sabarmati river.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shankarlal Gopalbhai Patel Vs Union of India & Others dated 29/01/2020 regarding damage caused to the flora, fauna and ecology of the Kutch region particularly in Sangnara village, due to alleged rampant illegal felling of trees for construction of wind farms by M/s. Green Infra Wind Energy Limited, and seven wind energy companies.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Aryavart Foundation Vs M/s Jaytex Silk Mills & Others dated 21/01/2020 regarding industries like Jaytex Silk Mills in Bhestan, Surat discharging untreated coloured chemical liquid into Bhedwad Khadi through Surat Municipal Corporation drain which finally falls into Arabian Sea and is also emitting black and toxic smoke which is causing air pollution, injurious to the people living in the vicinity.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ajitsinh Bhurubha Vaghela & Inhabitants of several Villages of Kheda Taluka, Distt. Kheda Vs State of Gujarat dated 17/01/2020 regarding controlling untreated industrial effluents discharged in Kharicut Canal which is a tributary of Khari River in District Khera, Gujarat. Illegal bore-wells are said to have been dug without permission of the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) affecting the water level. Sewage from STPs set up by Ahmadabad Municipal Corporation was overflowing into the river.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Kandla Juth Machimar Sahkari Mandal Ltd. Vs Union of India & Others dated 16/01/2020 regarding violation of the condition of the Environmental Clearance (EC) pertaining to work of laying of pipeline in Nakti Creek, Gulf of Kutch.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Hasmkh R. Shah Vs State of Gujarat dated 14/01/2020 regarding use of wood as a fuel in industrial area, Dahod, Gujarat generating carbon iand causing pollution. Gujarat State Pollution Control Board inspected 16 units and submitted a report in October 2019 stating that 8 industrial units have neither obtained Consolidated Consent and Authorization (CCA) nor provided with Air Pollution Control Management (APCM).

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ramdevbhai Samatbhai Sanjva Vs State of Gujarat & Others dated 06/12/2019 regarding pollution of river Bhadar near Ahmedabad.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) passed an order on October 31, 2019 in the matter of Yunus Daud Shaikh Vs State of Gujarat in in O.A. No. 910/2019. The matter related to air pollution in Vapi due to burning of waste and scrap from paper mills in the night and chemical contamination of ground water in Vapi area. In the said order, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) were jointly asked to furnish a factual and action taken report in the matter.
