Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s Micro Turners Vs. MoEF & Others dated 14/07/2016. The Applicant an industry manufacturing auto parts of Bajaj Auto Ltd had filed the Application for a direction to the MoEF and the Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board to permit the operation of the industry under the provisional consent granted dated 22nd June, 2016. Tribunal permits the industry to operate.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s Hotel Vivek Regent Vs. Uttarakhand Environment Protection & Pollution Control Board & Others dated 14/07/2016 regarding pollution caused by M/s Hotel Vivek Regent. Joint inspection report submitted before the Tribunal shows that there is only one septic tank and the capacity of the tank is not sufficient enough to handle the sewage generated by the hotel. NGT rules that the Hotel cannot be permitted to operate until expansion of the septic tanks.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Suo Motu Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission Vs. Chief Secretary, Govt. Of Uttarakhand & Others dated 12/07/2016 regarding pollution of river Kausi and Ganga.

NGT directs counsel appearing for the State of Uttarakhand and Pay Jal Nigam to state all steps for preventing pollution of river Kausi and Ganga.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sandeep Kumar Vs. MoEF & Others dated 06/07/2016 regarding illegal mining in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Tribunal directs the Committee consisting of Director Mines, State of Uttarakhand, Member Secretary, Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board and District Magistrate, Haridwar to hear the Applicant (Sandeep Kumar) and asked the committee will determine the environmental compensation payable for illegal mining as well as on account of environmental degradation.
