Pakistan and the United States have decided to work for developing agriculture in Afghanistan.

Germany and Austria confirmed cases of swine flu on Wednesday, becoming the third and fourth European countries hit by the disease.

Following outbreak of Swine flu in parts of the world, officials from the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary (AH&V) department in Meghalaya have been directed to report about any cases of the disease to their respective Disease Investigaton Officers (DIOs).

There is no immediate threat of the outbreak of 'swine flu' in Pakistan. However, all precautionary measures have been taken, in case of an emergency. This was stated by Dr Rasheed Juma, Director-General, Health, while briefing media persons here on Wednesday.

Health and Family welfare Minister Dr AFM Ruhul Huq yesterday called upon the people to remain alert on highly contagious Swine Flu, but not to panic about it, as Bangladesh is still free from this virus.
